Emotional Wellness

Helping Children and Teens Build Emotional Awareness

TTC resources are designed to help parents guide emotional conversations in a simple, age-appropriate, and practical way.

Parent Reflection

Helping Parents Build Clarity and Consistency

Parenting can feel stressful when behavior, emotions, school concerns, or communication problems keep repeating. Parent reflection tools help caregivers slow down, identify patterns, and respond with more clarity.

What happened before the behavior?
What was my child trying to communicate?
What response helped?
What response made it worse?
What routine needs more structure?
What skill does my child still need to learn?

When More Support May Be Needed

Resources Are Helpful, but Some Situations Need Professional Care

Parent resources can support learning, reflection, communication, routines, and behavior planning. However, some situations may require licensed clinical support, formal assessment, medical care, psychiatric care, school-based evaluation, or emergency intervention.

If a child, teen, parent, or family is experiencing safety concerns, self-harm risk, suicidal thoughts, abuse, neglect, severe emotional distress, or immediate danger, contact emergency or crisis support right away.

If there is immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988.
